Active warmth from the base layer
Anyone who spends long periods sitting in freezing temperatures will be familiar with the problem: multiple layers of warmth can be bulky and restrict freedom of movement and comfort. The Pirscher Gear heated base layer delivers active warmth right to the first layer of clothing thanks to two integrated heating zones on the upper and lower back. This means that, depending on the temperature, your layering can be more streamlined and, in some cases, a lighter mid-layer beneath the winter jacket may suffice.
Three heat settings are available via the particularly practical heating control button on the left forearm. The extra-long sleeves extend far enough forwards under the ‘ winter jacket’ jacket to allow the heat output to be comfortably adjusted without having to unzip the jacket, fleece or other layers of clothing. The heating button’s backlight can be switched off using a side button.
Modern functional base layer for hunting
We have designed this heated functional undershirt to perform as an effective base layer even when the heating is switched off. The thin, stretchy technical fabric is softly brushed on the inside and particularly smooth on the outside. This makes it feel pleasantly soft, whilst fleece, jumpers or hunting jackets glide easily over it.
At the same time, the material is ‘ breathable’ and ‘ fast-drying’. 4-way- Stretch and the sporty cut offer plenty of freedom of movement, whilst the back section in the area of the heating zones is constructed with a double layer. Thanks to the raglan cut, there are no seams running directly across the shoulders, which is particularly comfortable for those who carry rucksacks. Flatlock seams further reduce pressure points and chafing.
Protection against odours
To ensure our functional fabric retains its neutral odour when you sweat, we have incorporated Silvadur freshness technology (gentle on the skin, OEKO-TEX certified). It actively combats odour formation. The silver-ion-based antimicrobial treatment prevents micro-organisms from multiplying in the fabric and thus prevents odours from developing.
Power supply via power bank
The heating system is powered via USB-C using a power bank. The connector and power bank can be stowed safely and discreetly in an integrated pocket behind a concealed zip.
The power bank is not included.
Care instructions for the ‘ Pirscher’ ‘ Gear’ heated undershirt
Before washing, the power bank must be removed and the USB cap closed. The heated undershirt can be machine-washed at 30 °C in the supplied laundry bag on a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry.
